So, here's the deal: after 19 years of keeping my transaction coordination fees at the same rate (yes, 19 years—I know, right?), I’ve decided it’s time for a change. I’ve been resisting, but between inflation, giving my team members raises, and the ever-growing cost of living, I’m finally giving in and adjusting my fees.
Starting January 15, 2025, my rates will be adjusting on any file received after 12/31/24:
$600 for a one-sided file (representing either the buyer or the seller)
$1000 for a double-sided file (if you are personally representing both the buyer and the seller)
$250 cancellation fee if you cancel my services mid-file (*no change - this is current policy)
$100 fee is you add a buyer or change signers after disclosures are signed (*no change - this is current policy)
It’s been 19 years since my prices changed, and housing prices, milk, gas - you name it, everything has increased including real estate commissions. While I’d love to keep the same prices forever, even I can’t outrun inflation. (I tried, but it turns out I’m not that fast.)
Now, I’m not the only one adjusting prices—many of my competitors are charging way more. So, while my new rates are a little higher, they’re still a great deal compared to what others in the industry have been charging for the last several years.
I want to assure you that even though my fees are going up, the level of service you receive will remain top notch. I’m still here to make your transactions as smooth and stress-free as ever. I really appreciate your understanding, and if you have any questions or concerns, feel free to reach out!
Thanks for your continued trust and for being awesome. Looking forward to working with you for another 19 years!
